Rosemarie was born in Fairview, NJ to the late Kathrine Battaglia and Carmine Di Giacomo. Rosemarie is predeceased by her parents, sister Geraldine Sudano and grandson Steven Celentano. Rosemarie is survived by her son Joseph and his partner Bill, son Michael and his wife Joann, daughter Sherry Garcia and her husband Yuri; Grandchildren Joseph, Rebekah and Johanna and Brothers Ralph and Vincent DiGiacomo.
Prior to retirement, Rosemarie worked for Fastbolt as an administrative assistant and Englewood Hospital as an ER registrar
Rosemarie was a strong single mother who worked two jobs to provide for her 3 children. Rosemarie was very active in the Palisades Park community; she was the 1st female to coach boys little league, started the women’s softball league, worked the baseball concession stand, and served on the Juvenile Justice Committee.
A Memorial Mass celebrating Rosemarie's life will be held at St. John The Baptist Church in Hillsdale, NJ on Saturday, October 9th at 10:30AM.
