Stephen Paino

Stephen, 62 of New Milford, NJ passed away at home surrounded by his loving family on Monday, May 28, 2012 after a courageous battle with ALS. Stephen was born in Hoboken, NJ August 25, 1949 and was raised in Guttenberg, NJ. He founded Paino Roofing Co. Inc. in 1970.

He is predeceased by his grandparents Maria-Rose and Pasquale Paino, and his parents Helen and Stephen Paino. Beloved husband of Sharon Paino. Devoted father of Ron Layne and his wife Susan of Haworth, NJ; Kim Mazzeo and her husband Michael of Emerson; NJ, Stephen Paino, III and his wife Bryana of Emerson, NJ. Loving grandfather of Nicholas and Jackie Mazzeo; Stephen IV, Anthony, Vincent, Angelo and Luca Paino. Step-grandfather of Ron Jr., Derick, Danielle, Cara and Craig Layne. Dear brother of Rosemary Palmer, Helen Ronquillo, Kathy Somick and Patti Snellings. Also survived by many nieces, nephews, friends and his granddog Charlie.

Stephen loved his family more than life and his family cherished him. He adored his grandchildren. They were the light of his life. His happiest times were those spent watching their sporting events or spending time together. He taught us all so much with his unconditional love and strong honorable values. He will be terribly missed and our lives forever changed.
