Susan A. Van Riper

VAN RIPER, Susan A., 76, of East Arlington, VT, formerly of Woodcliff Lake, NJ, passed away on Saturday, November 29, 2014. She was born in White Plains, NY to Robert and Doris Jaten. Beloved wife of the late Peter Van Riper. Devoted mother of William Van Riper and his wife Barbara, Timothy Van Riper and his wife Janet, Laurie Van Riper, and the late Michael Van Riper and his wife Nancy. Dear sister of Robert Jaten. Loving grandmother of Kristen, Michael, Andrew, Michael, William, Ian, Melissa, Samantha, Craig and Brandon. Cherished great grandmother of Ava. She was a graduate of Fairleigh Dickinson University. Susan worked side by side with her late husband Peter at Van Riper's Farm in Woodcliff Lake up until the farm closed in 1995. The family will receive their relatives and friends at Becker Funeral Home, 219 Kinderkamack Road, Westwood, NJ on Wednesday, December 3 from 2-4 and 7-9PM. The Funeral Service celebrating Susan’s life and faith will be held at the funeral home on Thursday, December 4 at 12:30PM. Interment will follow at George Washington Memorial Park, Paramus, NJ.
