Ute P. Bauer

Born in Zindorf, Germany, Ute was raised there and met her husband, Helmut Bauer. Together they welcomed their first child before immigrating to the United States to begin a new chapter of their lives.

Ute dedicated over two decades of her professional life as a stock manager at TDI, where her commitment and diligence were deeply valued.

She is lovingly remembered by her children: Andrea Bauer, Corinna Bauer, and Norman Bauer; and her grandson, Travis Conklin. She was also survived by her beloved niece and nephews Dagmar Plank and nephews Norbert and Ken Herold and their families. Ute was predeceased by her loving husband Helmut Bauer, her sister Margaret Herold, and her brother Gerhard Buerkel.

Ute found joy in knitting and crochet and spent countless hours immersed in romance and historical novels. She had a deep affection for animals, especially dogs, cats, birds, and deer.

In lieu of flowers donations may be made to the Bergen County Animal Shelter.

Visitation will be held at Becker Funeral Home in Westwood on Thursday from 4:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m., with a prayer service beginning at 7:00 p.m. at the funeral home.
