JORDAN, William J., 78, of Saddle River, NJ, formerly of Westwood, NJ, passed away on Friday, November 11th, 2016. He was born in Rutherford, NJ to James and Audrey Jordan. Beloved husband of 49 years to Dorothy Jordan (neeTalmo). Devoted father of William “Billy” Jordan and his wife Kirsten, and Nicol Moore and her husband David Coene. Dear brother of Tracey O’Connor, Leslie Carrasquillo and Lynne McCarthy. Loving grandfather of Emily, Allison and Sarah Jordan; Michael Moore, Jr. and David William Coene. Special friend of Caroline Fitzpatrick, Daniel and Robert Thanel, Mary Killeen, Michael Moore, Sr. Ingrid and Frederick Schmerling and devoted friend Buddy Solomon. He is survived by his loving, faithful and furry companions Danny, Jordy and Lola. He is also survived by his many nieces and nephews. A graduate of Niagara University, William was the president of Miraj Corp. in Hasbrouck Heights, NJ. He served our country proudly as a Lieutenant in the 101st Airborne Division. He was an avid soccer fan and shared his love of the game with all who knew and loved him. The family will receive their relatives and friends at Becker Funeral Home, 219 Kinderkamack Road, Westwood, NJ on Tuesday, November 15, from 2-4 and 7-9PM. The Funeral Mass celebrating William’s life and faith will be held at R.C. Church of the Presentation, Upper Saddle River, NJ on Wednesday, November 16 at 11.AM with private cremation to follow. In lieu of flowers, memorial gifts may be made in William’s name to the Michael J. Fox Foundation
