Malia, Jr., William, 87, of Emerson died on September 28, 2017. Husband of Barbara (nee Broderick). Father of Kathy Bell, Betsy Malia, Terry Karmazin and Bobbi Hywel. Brother of Mary Stapel and Ellen Wheatley. Grandfather of Lexi, Troy and Paige Santise.
Born in North Bergen, he lived in Paramus before moving to Emerson. William was a comptroller for Bartizan Corporation, Yonkers, NY for over 10 years. He served in the US Marine Corps during the Korean Conflict.
Visitation at Becker Funeral Home, 219 Kinderkamack Road, Westwood, NJ on Sunday 3-6 pm. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Alzheimer’s Association, www.alz.org
