

Ana D. Jimenez, 69, of Manchester, passed away on Tuesday (October 18, 2016) at Hartford Hospital. Born in Santurce, Puerto Rico on September 12, 1947, she was the daughter of the late Aurelio Jimenez and Juana Jimenez-Rivera. Ana was a dedicated teacher for the city of Hartford for many years. Ana's greatest joy was being with her family. A loving mother, grandmother and great-grandmother, she will be dearly missed by her two devoted children, Ricardo Sinabria and wife Ashley of Manchester and Gloria Sanabria-Colon and husband Librado of Wethersfield; six adored grandchildren, Marlena, Clarissa, Elias, Isaiah, Samyra and Alijah and three cherished great-granchildren, Mason, Maylanie and Benjamin. She is also survived by her sister, Edith Jimenez of Sarasota, FL, as well as many nieces, nephews, extended family members, friends and former students. She was predeceased by three brothers, Gilberto, Aurelio and Papo Jimenez and two sisters, Mercedes and Diana Jimenez. Funeral services will be Tuesday (October 25) at 11 a.m. at the D'Esopo Funeral Chapel, 277 Folly Brook Blvd., Wethersfield. Burial will follow in Cedar Hill Cemetery, Hartford. The family will receive relatives and friends on Monday from 4-8 p.m. at the funeral chapel.
