Ann Marie DeLorso (Mallia)

Ann Marie (Mallia) DeLorso, 93, of Hartford, loving wife of the late Pasquale Daniel DeLorso, passed away peacefully, Thursday, (July 28, 2011) at St. Francis Hospital with her devoted family by her bedside. She was born May 8, 1918 in Hartford and was the daughter of the late Salvatore and Santina (Pizzo) Mallia. She enjoyed crocheting and made many items with love for her family, she will always be remembered. She is survived by her daughter, Patricia Mazzadra and husband, David of Marietta, GA and son, Richard DeLorso and wife, Barbara of Woodstock Valley; grandchildren, John Cianfaglione and wife, Yvette, Nicole LePore and husband, Tom, Jared Cianfaglione and wife, Arianne and Jennifer DeLorso; great grandchildren, Gabrielle and Sarah LePore and Dominic Fuentes and Tessa and Nicholas Cianfaglione; her devoted sister-in-law, Anne Bellinghausen who will miss her dearly, as well as several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by brothers, Michael, Joseph and John and a sister, Nancy. A special thank you to Dr. Grise, Betsy and Alana, all the doctors and staff at St. Francis Hospital as well as the Village at Buckland and all her new friends that she met there who made her feel at home.

Funeral service will be Saturday at 10:15 a.m. at theD'Esopo Funeral Chapel, 277 Folly Brook Blvd., Wethersfield followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 11 a.m. at Corpus Christi Church, 550 Silas Deane Highway, Wethersfield. The burial will be in Mt. St. Benedict Cemetery, Bloomfield. Calling hour will be Saturday from 9-10:15 a.m. at the funeral chapel prior to the Mass.
