Anne Wilson Brisbo

Anne (Wilson) Brisbo, 93, wife of the late Albert W. Brisbo, died Thursday, (November 23, 2006) at Hartford Hospital. She was born June 1, 1913 in Hartford, the daughter of the late Dr. Hubert G. and Rebecca (Granter) Wilson, and was a graduate of Bulkeley High School, Class of 1930. Anne was a longtime resident of Wethersfield and a former member of the Wethersfield Historical Society where she served as a docent. Anne was a member of Trinity Episcopal Church, the Altar Guild of Trinity Church and the Episcopal Church Women. She is survived by her two daughters, Cynthia A. Kaplan of West Hartford and Gail B. Westermeyer of Newington; eight grandchildren, Enoch Brady of Katonah, NY, Rebecca and Joseph Casasanta of Madison, Rachel and Thomas Barrett of Southington, Christopher and Nancy Brady of Newport Beach, CA, Jonathan and Alexandra Brady of Venice, CA, Lucinda and Stephen Marshall of Newington, Kimberly and Gary Weber of New Britain and Sarah and Peter Ferraresso of Pleasant Valley, CT; 17 great grandchildren; two great great grandchildren and two nephews, Geoffrey Wilson of Glastonbury and George Wilson of Coco Beach, FL. Anne was predeceased by her brother, Hubert J. Wilson and sister-in-law, Barbara S. Wilson. Funeral service will be Tuesday, November 28 at 11 a.m. at Trinity Episcopal Church, 300 Main Street, Wethersfield with The Reverend Scott Lee officiating.
