

Anne M. (Roy) Fanelli, 79, of Rocky Hill, devoted wife of Richard Fanelli for 57 years, died peacefully, Monday, March 11, 2013 at St. Francis Hospital. She was born August 14, 1933 in Hartford and was the daughter of the late Eugene and Nora (Glynn) Roy. She was a communicant of Corpus Christi Church and a member of Corpus Christi's Mother's Circle. Anne will always be remembered as a loving and caring wife, mother and grandmother. She will be dearly missed. She was sadly predeceased by her son, Michael John Fanelli in 2006. Besides her husband, she is survived by her children, Richard Fanelli, Jr. and wife, Roberta of Hardwick, Massachusetts, Cathy LoBello and husband, Salvatore of Marlborough and Denise Magaldi and husband, William of East Hampton, grandchildren, Sarah, Benjamin, Hannah and Eden Fanelli, Chris Fanelli, Jennifer Poland and husband, Tom, Amanda, Anthony and Danny LoBello and George Magaldi as well as a host of dear and close friends. Besides her parents and her son, she was predeceased by her sister, Maryknoll Order, Sister Marya Roy.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Wednesday at 10:00 a.m. at Corpus Christi Church, 601 Silas Deane Highway, Wethersfield. Everyone is asked to please go directly to the church. The burial will be in Rose Hill Memorial Park, Rocky Hill. Calling hours are TODAY from 4-7 p.m. at the D'Esopo Funeral Chapel, 277 Folly Brook Blvd. Wethersfield.
