

Antonio Santini, 76, of Wethersfield, loving husband of Imelde (DePanfilis) Santini for 45 years, passed away peacefully Friday (September 25, 2009) with his family by his bedside. He was born June 12, 1933 in Capestrano, Italy and was the son of the late Giuseppe and Mariannina (Occhietti) Santini. He was a proud U.S. Army veteran of the Korean War. Antonio was employed by Stanadyne Automotive, retiring several years ago. Antonio enjoyed listening to music and was an accomplished accordion player. Besides his loving wife, he is survived by two sons, Roberto Santini of Wethersfield and Dino Santini and his wife Ofelia of South Windsor; two daughters, Linda DeSeno and her husband Rick and Debora Hedges and her husband Tracy, all of Rocky Hill; four adored grandsons, Nicholas, Mason, Anthony and Jake; his brother, Ivo Santini and his wife Marisa of Rocky Hill; his sister, Adria Colasacco and her husband Guido of Wethersfield, as well as many nieces and nephews. Antonio was a loving husband and father who devoted himself to his family. He was loved by all who knew him and will be greatly missed. Funeral service will be Monday at 9 a.m. at the D?Esopo Funeral Chapel, 277 Folly Brook Blvd., Wethersfield followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 10 a.m. at the Church of the Incarnation, 544 Prospect Street, Wethersfield. Entombment will be in Cedar Hill Cemetery, Hartford. Calling hours are Sunday from 4-7 p.m. at the funeral chapel.
