

Arthur Joseph Boudreau, Jr., 80, of Wethersfield, beloved husband for 60 years of Jeannine (Breton) Boudreau, passed away on Thursday, October 15, 2015. Born in Hartford on December 17, 1934, he was the son of the late Arthur J. and Mildred (Girard) Boudreau. He was a proud U.S. Army veteran serving during the Korean War. Arthur was a skilled tool and die maker, retiring from M.H. Rhodes in Avon. In his younger days, he enjoyed golfing and fishing. Never one to sit idle, he liked staying busy with woodworking and gardening and he loved music. He was also a fan of UCONN basketball, especially the women’s team. He was always there for family or anyone that needed him. A loving husband and devoted family man, Arthur will be dearly missed by his beloved wife Jeannine; two sons, Kenneth D. Boudreau of Wethersfield and Robert J. Boudreau and his wife Theresa of South Windsor and his two adored grandchildren, Nicole and Daniel Boudreau, both of South Windsor. He is also survived by his sister and brother-in-law, June and William Machuga of Unionville, as well as many nieces, nephews, extended family members and friends. He was predeceased by his daughter-in-law, Sandra A. Boudreau.
Funeral services leave Monday (October 19) at 9 a.m. from the D’Esopo Funeral Chapel, 277 Folly Brook Blvd., Wethersfield for a Mass of Christian Burial at 9:45 a.m. at the Church of the Incarnation, 544 Prospect Street, Wethersfield. Burial with military honors will follow in Mt. St. Benedict Cemetery, Bloomfield. Arthur’s family will receive relatives and friends on Sunday from 3-6 p.m. at the funeral chapel.
