Concetta Miano (Ucello)

Concetta (Uccello) Miano, 72, of Rocky Hill, beloved wife of Santo Miano, passed away Saturday (November 26, 2011). She was born August 1, 1939 in Canicattini Bagni, province of Sirarcusa, Italy, the daughter of the late Vincenzo and Giuseppina (Ficara) Uccello. Concetta was a member of the Daughters of Canicattini Bagni Society. Including Santo, her husband of 50 years, Concetta is survived by a daughter Marinella Sebastiana Miano of Rocky Hill; a son Dino Miano and his wife Marilena of Rocky Hill; two grandchildren Matthew and Nicholas Miano of Rocky Hill; a sister Lucia Zocco and her husband Salvatore of Rocky Hill; and two sisters-in-law Josephine Carpinteri and her husband Salvatore of Wethersfield and Angela Sbriglio and her husband Sebastian of Hartford as well as many nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will leave Wednesday (November 30th) at 10:30 a.m. from the D'Esopo Funeral Chapel, 277 Folly Brook Blvd., Wethersfield for a Mass of Christian Burial at 11:30 a.m. in St. James Church, 767 Elm Street, Rocky Hill.
