Domenic Donald R. Maturo

Domenic ""Donald"" R. Maturo, 77, of Wethersfield, beloved husband of Mary Lu (Ali) Maturo for 50 years, passed away on Monday, (July 9, 2012). Born on February 10, 1935 in Hartford, he was the son of the late James and Philomena (Costardo) Maturo and was the owner and operator of Domenic's Pool Center in Middletown. Donald enjoyed playing golf and fishing, but his greatest joys were his children and grandchildren. Beside his wife Mary Lu, Donald is survived by his five beloved children: Carrie and her husband William of Durham, NH, Susan of Wethersfield, Elizabeth of West Hartford, Alison of Wethersfield, and Christopher of Hartford; his loving grandchildren: Taylor, Haley, Mei-Lin and Mia; his brother James and his wife Patricia of Wethersfield; his sister-in-law Natalina of Wethersfield; and his Aunt Babe and Uncle John Rucci of Enfield. He also leaves many cherished cousins who will never forget him.

Funeral services will leave Friday, July 13 at 9:15 a.m. from the D'Esopo Funeral Chapel, 277 Folly Brook Blvd., Wethersfield for a 10 a.m. Mass of Christian Burial in Sacred Heart Church, 56 Hartford Avenue, Wethersfield.
