On December 7, 2008, Donna Hart, died quietly with dignity at home with her devoted husband by her side. Donna resided in Wethersfield and was the beloved wife of Joseph F. Hart. She was born on February 7, 1945 in Hartford, to Nathaniel and the late Leona (Aloisio) Kronick. Donna retired from The Travelers Insurance after 28 years and from AON Group after 7 years. After retiring, Donna was free to explore anything that interested her and spent several years pursing and enjoying new interests. Donna loved life, her husband of 37 years; Joe, Tango her faithful dog, lazy summer days at Amtson Lake, a good mystery book, sewing and creating memorable handcrafted gifts to share with those she loved. She was a member of the Connecticut Horticultural Society and created beautiful and tranquil gardens. Donna's presence will be greatly missed, but memories of her infectious giggle, quick, droll humor, being the first to offer her help and other random acts of kindness will keep her forever in the hearts of those she loved. The love and support Donna bestowed on her family and friends was returned to her as they cared for her during her illness. Donna wanted her family and friends to know how thankful she was for their caring, assistance, and acts of kindness shown to her and Joe during her three-year illness. In addition to her husband whose loving care during her illness spoke of their strong marriage, Donna is survived by her father, Nathaniel Kronick; her brother, Norman Kronick; brother-in-law and sister-in-law, Frank and Marybeth Pappa; nephews and their spouses: Paul and Nicole Pappa, Anthony and Denise Pappa; nieces, Nicole and Christina Pappa; and several grand-nephews and nieces.
