Edward Hooker

Edward Hooker Jr, 65, of Enfield, husband of the late Becky (Laplante) Hooker, passed away Friday, April 11, 2025. He was born September 20, 1959 in Hartford and was the son of the late Edward Joseph Hooker and Beatrice Julia (Seaburgh).

Edward had a lifelong love for cars, whether under the hood or behind the wheel and he especially loved driving big trucks, the bigger the better.

He is survived by his sons, Edward “Eddie” Hooker III and Zachary Hooker, his sisters, Dawn Fiducia and her husband Salvatore Fiducia and Julie Galusha and her husband Richard Galusha, as well as his many nieces and nephews. Along with his parents, he is predeceased by his wife.

Edward’s relatives and friends may call at the D’Esopo Funeral Chapel, 277 Folly Brook Boulevard, Wethersfield, CT 06109 on Monday, April 21, 2025 from 4 pm – 6 pm. Burial will take place at the convenience of the family. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made in Edward’s name to American Cancer Society, P.O. Box 6704, Hagerstown, MD 21741.
