Gina M. D'Elia

Gina M. D'Elia, 48, of Wethersfield, passed away suddenly on Sunday (October 10, 2010). She was born May 30, 1962 in Hartford and is the beloved daughter of Joseph A. and Joyce (Scoppetto) D'Elia of Wethersfield. Gina was a graduate of Wethersfield High School and enjoyed working as a Social Worker. She will be dearly missed by her family and many friends. Besides her parents she leaves her children, Kareemah, Hassan, Hassanah and Stephanie D'Elia; her grandchildren, Ricky, Jonathan, Aubrey and Justice, all of Wethersfield; her brother, Stephen J. D'Elia and wife Susan of Colchester, as well as several aunts, uncles and cousins. A Prayer Service for family and friends will be held Wednesday (October 13, 2010) at 11 a.m. at the D'Esopo Funeral Chapel, 277 Folly Brook Blvd. Wethersfield. The burial will be private. Calling hour will be from 10-11 a.m. at the funeral chapel. In lieu of flowers, donations in Gina's memory may be made to the American Heart Association -CT Chapter, 5 Brookside Dr., P.O.
