Grace Lilian Davis passed away peacefully on July 28, 2012. She was born in Hartford, as Grace Nazlian on January 29, 1923. She was one of eleven children. She worked at Underwood Typewriter during the war years. She married Frank Davis, a returning World War II Marine in 1947. They settled in East Hartford and raised seven children together. Her family was her life. She had a big heart and truly loved each and every one of her children. And when they had children, she watched, took care of, babysat, and enjoyed each and every one of them. She was married for 57 years to a man she loved and who loved her. Those of us she leaves behind, can find no flaw in her capacity to love. A special thanks from the family to all the loving people at Meadowbrook Nursing Home in Granby. She is predeceased by her husband, Frank J. Davis Sr; her daughter Kathleen Davis; and her son Robert Davis. She is survived by three sisters, Hazel Howard of Connecticut, Dorothy Bancroft of NH, and Isabel Taylor of California. She is survived by her two daughters Laura Dellaripa and her husband Richard of Georgia, and Mary Tucker and her husband William of Connecticut, her three sons David Davis of Connecticut, Michael Davis and his wife Susan of Wisconson, and Frank Davis Jr. and his wife Donna of Connecticut; her daughter-in-law Sharon Georgi Davis of Massachusetts; eleven granddaughters: Kristen , Rachel, Melissa, Nicole, Sarah , Jessica, Caroline, Tonya, Alexis, Vanessa, and Shauna, her five grandsons Richard, Robert, Andrew, Frank, and Matthew; and her five great-grandchildren.
