

Grace M. (Guerrera) Perugini, 94, of Enfield, beloved wife for 67 years of the late Alfred D. Perugini, Sr., passed away peacefully on Thursday, January 5, 2023 at Hartford Hospital. Born in Hartford on January 22, 1928, she was the daughter of the late Michaelangelo and Filomena (Perugini) Guerrera. Grace worked for many years for the State of CT, Department of Labor. She enjoyed craft painting, sewing and crocheting. Her greatest joy, however, came from spending time with her family.
A loving mother, grandmother and great-grandmother, Grace will be forever missed by her three children, Gerry Gaudrault and partner Alan Pratt, Claudia Brainard and husband James P. Brainard Sr., all of Suffield, Alfred D. Perugini, Jr. and partner Karen Kahrmann of South Windsor; six adored grandchildren, Russell Gaudrault, Monica Lacasse and husband Matthieu, James P. Brainard, Jr., Melissa Degray and husband Frank, Christina Dibacco and husband Mark, Kristen Perugini and partner Tom McMann and four cherished great-grandchildren. She is also survived by many nieces, nephews and extended family members. In addition to her husband and parents, Grace was predeceased by her sister, Josephine Anselmo.
Funeral services will begin on Wednesday, January 11 at 9 a.m. at the D’Esopo Funeral Chapel, 277 Folly Brook Blvd., Wethersfield followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 10 a.m. at St. Augustine Church, 10 Campfield Avenue, Hartford. Entombment will be in Cedar Hill Cemetery, Hartford. The family will receive relatives and friends on Tuesday from 5-7 p.m. at the funeral chapel.
