

Henry E. Morissette, 86, of Wethersfield, beloved husband of 65 years to Rose (Piacente) Morissette passed away peacefully, at home, on November 14, 2017 surrounded by his family. Henry was born in Hartford on July 31, 1931, the son of the late Joseph and Imelda (Ferland) Morissette. Henry honorably served in the U.S. Army. He was a member of the Knights of Columbus, The American Legion, an active participant at the Wethersfield Senior Center as well as a longtime parishioner of Corpus Christi Church. Henry was employed at the MDC and for the US Post Office for 40 years. His true passion was his family; a devoted and loving husband, father, grandfather and friend. He is survived by his wife Rose, his children, Ralph, Joyce, Susan (Darlene) and their children Jacob and Aaron, Steven (Andrea) and their children Rebecca and Tyler, his sister Jeanette Ater of California, Leanna Harris of New Britian and a neighborhood of friends. There will be no calling hours and the burial is private. The family invites you to attend a memorial service for Henry on Saturday, December 2, 2017 at 10:00 am at Christ the King Parish (Corpus Christi Church), 602 Silas Deane Highway, Wethersfield.
