Janet Nancy (martinez) Gulliksen

Janet Nancy (Martinez) Gulliksen, 57 of Wethersfield, beloved wife of Gary Gulliksen, passed away peacefully at home, Tuesday (February 5, 2008), with her family by her side. She was born February 19, 1950 in Hartford and was the daughter of the late Edward and Evelyn (Fierstein) Martinez. Janet attended Hartford College for Women, she was an underwriter for Aetna Insurance Company. She was a longtime faithful member and an usher at the First Church of Christ, Wethersfield. Janet loved going to the beach and Cape Cod. She enjoyed dancing and decorating. She will be sadly missed by her loving family and friends. Besides her husband she is survived by two sons, Craig Olivieri and his wife, Kim of Jackson, Wyoming and Eric Olivieri and his wife, Andrea of Bolton, step-daughters, Heather Collins and her husband, Steve of Hampton, VA and Bonnie Allen and her husband, James of Middlefield, a sister, Maxine Elansky of South Windsor. She was the loving grandmother to Sabrina, Victoria, Steve, Paige, Heath, Diana and Amaya. Funeral service will be Saturday at 10 a.m. at First Church of Christ, 250 Main Street, Wethersfield with the Rev. T. Michael McDowell officiating. The burial will be in Village Cemetery, Wethersfield.
