Jean Ann West (Buckland)

Jean Ann (Buckland) West, 84, of East Longmeadow, MA formerly of Hartford and Milford, wife of the late George Y. West, died Saturday (December 14, 2013) at Bay State Medical Center, Springfield, MA. Born in Hartford, she was the daughter of the late Howard and Margaret (Borah) Buckland. She is survived by two sons, Mark West and his wife Deborah of So. Thomaston, ME, and Douglas West of Stafford; her brother, Raymond Buckland and her sister, Barbara Holcomb of Rocky Hill; grandchildren: Kellie Gardner and her husband Jeffrey of Jarvisburg, NC, Lisa Canada and her husband Dennis of Easton, Michael West of Windsor, Timothy West and Scott West of Orlando, FL, Edward West, Jr. of Kansas City, MO, Travis and Brittany West of Dresdan, ME; her great-grandchildren: Kelsie and Sydney Gardner of Jarvisburg, NC, Dennis ""DC"" and Jessica Canada of Easton, and Dalton and Sydney West of Kansas City, MO; and several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her son, Edward West and her stepdaughter, Susan West. She was a generous, thoughtful, loving person who cared for and took pride in her family.
