John William Terry

John William Terry, 94, of Wethersfield, beloved husband of Helen (Fasi) Terry, passed away peacefully on January 3, 2016. Born in Hartford on September 16, 1921, he was the son of the late William James and Madonna (Danforth) Terry. John served proudly in the U.S. Army during WWII. He retired from Pratt & Whitney Aircraft after 37 years of service. In addition to his wife, John leaves behind his daughters Joan Drucker and her husband Arnold of AZ, Elizabeth Franklin and her husband Bruce of Wethersfield, Patricia Ouellette and her husband Mark of Wethersfield and Elaina Greiner and her husband Edward of VA., and his son William Terry and his wife Linda of NH. He also leaves his eight grandchildren and four great grandchildren. In addition to his parents, John was predeceased by his brother Morton and his sister Pauline. There will be no calling hours and the burial will be private and at the convenience of the family.
