Joseph Michael ""Joe Paladino

Joseph Michael “Joe” Paladino, 70, passed away peacefully on June 21, 2017 with his family by his side. Joe was born on March 19, 1947 in Hartford and was the son of the late George A. and Eleanor (Motto) Paladino. Joe served proudly in the U.S. Army and was honorably discharged in August 1972. Joe worked as a foreman for the Metropolitan District of Hartford and retired after many years of dedicated employment. Joe was a devoted family man, he loved to spend time with his family but especially cherished his time spent with his beloved grandchildren. Joe leaves his daughter Shana M. Paladino-Ripp and her husband Jay of Waxhaw, NC, his son Michael A. Paladino and his partner Jeff Wood of Rockfall, CT. He also leaves his grandchildren Arabella and Maxton Ripp. He is also survived by his sister Margo Glanville of Portland, CT and his Aunt Mildred T. Motto-Abt of Rockfall, CT. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Tuesday, June 27th at 11:00 a.m. at Corpus Christi Church, 601 Silas Deane Highway, Wethersfield. Burial will be private. Everyone is asked to meet directly at church. Memorial donations in Joe’s name may be made out to the American Heart Association of CT, 5 Brookside Drive, Wallingford, CT 06492.
