

Karen Jean Robitaille, 46, of East Hartford went to be with her Lord on Monday, (June 9, 2008). She was the wife of John P. Robitaille. She lived a life devoted to serving the Lord Jesus Christ and raising her five sons. Karen was born in Providence, RI. She was the daughter of Neil B. and Jean M. Tubman of Smithfield, RI. She graduated from Tennessee Temple University in Chattanooga, and was especially trained for working with the hearing impaired and their families. For over 20 years, she directed the Deaf Ministry at Farmington Avenue Baptist Church of West Hartford. Besides her beloved husband of 27 years, she is survived by five sons: Matthew, Adam, David, Michael, and Aaron, all of East Hartford. She also leaves behind two sisters and their spouses, Gail and Steve Dunbar of Greenville, SC, Susan and Ronald Williams of Johnston, RI and a brother Ronald Tubman and his wife, Gina of Smithfield, RI. Funeral Services will be held Friday at 12 noon at Farmington Avenue Baptist Church, 149 Mountain Road, West Hartford. Her burial will be at the Silver Lane Cemetery in East Hartford. Friends and relatives are invited to call on Thursday, June 12, (TODAY) from 4-7 p.m. at the D'Esopo Funeral Chapel located at 277 Folly Brook Blvd., Wethersfield.
