Kevin J. Cunha

It is with heavy hearts that the family of Kevin J. Cunha, 27, announce his passing on Wednesday, April 30, 2025. Kevin, a beloved son, brother, and friend, was the cherished son of Elizabeth (Neves) Cunha and stepson to Albert Costa, of Windsor Locks.

Born in Hartford, CT, Kevin was a bright light from the moment he entered the world. His infectious, sweet nature and radiant smile could brighten any room. Kevin's love for music and laughter was boundless, and those who knew him will remember him for his kind heart and joyful spirit.

Kevin is survived by his mother, Elizabeth, and stepfather, Albert Costa; his sister, Vanessa Cunha; step-sisters, Michelle and Tanya Costa; his uncle, Paul Neves, and his wife, Dana and his maternal grandmother, Emilia Neves. He will also be deeply missed by his cousins, Jack, William, and Kate; his paternal grandparents, Fernando and Maria Helena Cunha; uncle, Ricardo Cunha; as well as many other extended family members and dear friends. Kevin was predeceased by his father Carlos Cunha, his grandfather, Jose Neves, and his uncle, Louie Neves.

In keeping with Kevin’s spirit, his family has chosen to celebrate his life privately. We are grateful for all of your thoughts, prayers, and support during this time. In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests that donations be made to Our Lady of Fatima, 50 Kane Street, Hartford.
