

Krishan Mohan Agrawal, 82, peacefully passed away at his home Friday, August 18, 2023, after a long battle with ataxia. He was born in Bareilly, India on October 2, 1940 and was the son of the late Debi Saran and Ganga Nandi Devi. He served as a merchant marine radio officer from 1961 to 1970, visiting numerous international ports around the world, before immigrating to the U.S. Krishan then obtained a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration. On January 5, 1974, he married Frances J. Auliso and they have been happily married for 49 years. He worked as a project manager for AT&T from 1983 until his retirement in 2008. He enjoyed spending time with his family and using his ham radio.
A loving husband, father and grandfather, Krishan will be dearly missed and forever remembered by his wife Frances; his children and grandchildren, David R. Agrawal with his wife Olga Malkova, and their children Andrei and Damian, Brian Agrawal with his wife Qiaojun and their son Christopher. In addition, he is survived by two brothers, Brij Mohan and Rajesh Mohan. Along with his parents, five siblings predecease Krishan.
The Agrawal family will receive relatives and friends Friday, August 25 from 4-6 p.m. at the D'Esopo-East Hartford Memorial Chapel, 30 Carter Street, East Hartford. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Saturday August 26 at 10 a.m. in Corpus Christi Church of Christ the King Parish, 601 Silas Deane Highway, Wethersfield (Attendees are requested to go directly to the church).
