

Lucia (Amenta) Mozzicato, 93, of Wethersfield, beloved wife of the late Salvatore Mozzicato, died peacefully on Friday (December 29, 2006) with her family by her side. She was born September 1, 1913 in White Plains, NY., and was the daughter of the late Corrado and Maria (Vasques) Amenta. She was employed by the former Coracci Dress Company for many years, retiring in 1973. She was a communicant of St. Luke Church, Hartford. She is survived by her daughter, Maria Alderuccio and her husband, Emilio of Wethersfield; and her son, Dr. Sebastian Mozzicato and his wife, Dorothy of Avon; grandchildren, JoLinda Alderuccio of Newton, MA., Lucinda Kulvinskas and her husband, Justin of Wethersfield, Doreen Ruggiero and her husband, Dr. Brian Ruggiero of Simsbury, Kristina Mozzicato of Orlando, FL., and Susan Mozzicato of Avon; and a great grandson, Jake Kulvinskas ; many nieces and nephews, among them are Johanna Pace, Sebastian Cassarino, Joseph Ciarcia, Dr. Bartolo Mozzicato and Emanuele Mozzicato; cousins, Concettina Aiello and Lucia Cugno. Funeral Service will be Tuesday at 9:15 a.m. from the D'Esopo Funeral Chapel, 277 Folly Brook Blvd. Wethersfield with a Mass of Christian Burial at 10 a.m. at St. Luke's Church, Hartford. The burial will be in Rose Hill Memorial Park, Rocky Hill. Calling hours are Monday from 5-8 p.m. at the D'Esopo Funeral Chapel.
