Luigi Greca

Luigi ""Gino"" Greca, 70, formerly of Hartford, husband of Lynn Greca, died, Wednesday, March 8, 2017 at his home in South Carolina. He was born August 2, 1946 in Floridia, province of Siracusa, Sicily and was the son of the late Thomas and Concetta (Grillo) Greca. He attended schools both in CT and Italy and was a veteran who served in the U.S. National Guard. Gino and his brothers owned and operated Greca Brothers Fashion Apparel on Franklin Ave in Hartford. He was also the owner of Greca Limousine and worked as a consultant for the Oakdale Theatre in Wallingford for 25 years. Gino is survived by his children, Peter Greca and fiance Raquel Lucas of Darien, Carla Viens and husband Glenn Viens of Manchester, Gina Greca of Rocky Hill, Scott Greca and wife Tessa of SC, Angelica Greca of SC; grandchildren Devon Viens, Rachel, Jason, Aiden and Arianna Greca; sisters Maria Ambrogio, Lucy Rizza, Grace Aliano; brothers Joe Greca and Lucien Greca and many nieces and nephews in the US and Italy. He is predeceased by his brother Eduardo Greca. There will be a Christian burial in Cedar Hill Cemetery, Hartford CT on April 22nd, at 10 am with Military Honors.
