Mario A. Cusano

Mario A. Cusano, 57, of Wethersfield, passed away peacefully Saturday, April 30, 2016 at Hartford Hospital. He was born October 9, 1958 and was the son of Antonetta (Rotundo) Cusano and the late Serafino P. Cusano. Mario was a graduate of Wethersfield High School. Mario worked for 25 years along with his brothers building A-Vend Inc. in Hartford. In later years, he was employed by Clearing House Auction Galleries of Wethersfield. Above all else, Mario loved his family and was a friend to anyone he came in contact with. His infectious smile will be truly missed. Besides his mother, he is survived by his son, Matthew Mario Cusano; his sister, Linda Grames and husband Michael; brothers, John Cusano and partner Eileen Sylvestre; Samuel P. Cusano and wife Lisa; Stephen Cusano; Ilio Cusano and wife Gina; his aunt Dolly Rotundo; and special friend and aunt, Connie (Rotundo) Sanelli. He leaves behind many nieces and nephews, Juliet, Katherine, and Jeffrey Grames; Courtney, Sammy, Stevie, Johnny, and Samantha Cusano; goddaughter Danielle (Cusano) Delvalle, husband, Luciano, and great-nephew Lorenzo I. Delvalle; and great-niece Alina-Marie Cusano, along with many cousins and a host of friends, including Matt’s mother, Karen (Sullivan) Arseneault.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Friday, May 6th at 10 a.m. at the Church of the Incarnation, 544 Prospect Street, Wethersfield. Everyone is asked to please go directly to the church. The burial will follow in Rose Hill Memorial Park, Rocky Hill.
