
Mary Theresa Hurley, 91, of Woodbridge, formerly of Manchester for almost 50 years, died Sunday, (October 16, 2011) in Woodbridge. Born in Hartford, she was the daughter of the late Joseph and Josephine (Farr) Deyorio. Mary was a graduate of Bay Path College in Longmeadow, MA. She was a communicant of St. Bridget's Church in Manchester, where she also worked as a secretary. She then was employed as a secretary for the State of Connecticut Judicial Department in the Superior Court for more than 25 years retiring in 1989. Mary was independent, loved to play bridge, was socially active and enjoyed traveling with her friends. She never stopped providing motherly advice, even later in life. Though of modest means, she was never a financial burden to her family. Mary is survived by two children, a son, Robert Hurley and his wife Anne of Woodbridge, and a daughter, Pamela Cusanelli and her husband Michael of Tolland; four grandchildren, Lee Anne Lorie and her husband, Orlando and their children Hannah and Andrew, of Lee, MA, Rachel Woodhull and her husband Kris and their son Benjamin, of Fairbanks, AK, Brian Helm of North Ft. Meyers, FL, and Ashley Cusanelli of Columbus, GA.
