Mary Meucci

Mary A. (Siek) Meucci, 87, of Newington and formerly South Windsor, beloved wife for 51 years of the late Albert ""Bato"" Meucci, passed away peacefully on Thursday, February 25, 2016. Born in Hartford on June 25, 1928, she was the daughter of the late Antoinette Siek and lived in the area all her life. She enjoyed music, playing Bingo and was an avid fan of the New York Yankees. A loving and devoted wife and mother, Mary will be dearly missed by her two sons, Joseph A. Meucci of South Windsor and Michael Meucci and wife Sharon of Torrington. In addition to her husband, Mary was predeceased by her brothers, Frank Siek and Edward Siek. Mary's family wishes to thank the staff at Newington Rapid Recovery Rehabilitation Center for their wonderful care and compassion. Funeral services will be Monday (February 29) at 10 a.m. at the D'Esopo Funeral Chapel, 277 Folly Brook Blvd., Wethersfield. Burial will follow in Mt. St. Benedict Cemetery, Bloomfield. Family and friends may call on Sunday from 2-5 p.m. at the funeral chapel.
