Mary (reno) Pietrycha

Mary (Reno) Pietrycha, 63, of Old Saybrook, beloved wife of Edward Pietrycha, died Tuesday (July 29, 2008). Born in Hartford she lived in Wethersfield for many years before moving to Cornfield Point, Old Saybrook. She was a very active member of the Cornfield Point Association and it's women's club. She was an avid bowler and enjoyed participating in a local bowling league. Besides her husband she is survived by her son and daughter-in-law, David E. and Laura Pietrycha of New York City, her brother and sister-in-law, George D. and Betty Reno of New Hartford, her brother-in-law, Joseph Pietrycha and his dear friend Cat of New Britain and her longtime dear friend Elaine Toscano. She was predeceased by her sister Carol. The funeral is Thursday at 10 a.m. at the D'Esopo Funeral Chapel, 277 Folly Brook Blvd., Wethersfield. Burial will be private at the convenience of the family. The family will receive relatives and friends today from 4-7 p.m. at the funeral home.
