Michael Aronne

passed away peacefully on Thursday, July 6, 2017. Born in Hartford on July 11, 1927, he was

the son of the late Michael and Angeline (Cersosimo) Aronne.

He was a longtime resident of East Hartford, CT where he raised his family and became the patriarch of the neighborhood. Among his favorite times were the summers spent camping at Lake George NY. After he retired he taught himself the computer and became known as the silverhairfox of the World Wide Web.In his later years, together with his great grandson Caleb, the Lego world was born!

In addition to his beloved wife he will be forever missed by his loving children Michael (Susan) Aronne, Jr. of Middletown CT, Paula (Roger) Billard of Hebro CT Kathy (Wayne) Kemp of Union CT, Madalyn (Frank) Tedone of Marshall NC, Susan Aronne of Middletown CT and Sandra (John) Cherry of Burnet TX; his adoring grandchildren, Kathy-Lee Tedone, Bryan Ayasse, Rachel Dickerson, Stacey Finn, Stefanie Ayasse, Ashley Holland, Paul Michael Billard, Michael Aronne, III, James (Jimmy Joe) Aronne, Maria Cherry, Brendan Aronne, Jesse Kemp and Amy Gerrish; and

8 special great-grandsons. He is also survived by his siblings William Aronne and Rose Aronne both of Wethersfield CT and his many loving nieces, nephews, extended family and friends.

He was predeceased by his brothers Horace, Mario, Blaise, Frank and Joseph and his sisters Anna and Antoinette (Dolly) Aronne, and most recently by his grandson, Russell Billard.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Monday (July 10) at 10 a.m. at St. Augustine Church, 10 Campfield Ave., Hartford. Everyone is asked to meet at the Church. Burial will immediately follow at Cedar Hill Cemetery, Hartford. Family and friends may call on Sunday (July 9) from 1-4 pm at the D'Esopo Funeral Chapel, 277 Folly Brook Boulevard, Wethersfield, CT. Donations in Mike's memory may be made to St. Jude's Children's Research Hospital, 262 Danny Thomas Place, Memphis, TN 38105.
