Michael J. Rogers, 50, of Wethersfield and Cocoa Beach, Florida, passed away unexpectedly on November 25, 2017. Born in Hartford on October 24, 1967 Michael was the son of Julie (Long) Bukowski and the late Frank Rogers. Michael grew up in Wethersfield and was a 1985 graduate of Wethersfield High School. Michael was the definition of a true free spirit, he loved life and lived it with a passion. He enjoyed being at the beach and loved to sail his catamaran, he enjoyed riding motorcycles and over the years built and rebuilt many bikes. He worked in the construction field and was a member of the Local 481 International Union of Painters and Allied Trades, District Council 11. In addition to his mother he leaves his step father Robert Bukowski, his brother Kevin Bukowski and his brothers Steven Rogers and Paul Rogers of Florida, along with several relatives and friends who will miss him.
