Paul E. Sipala,

Paul E. Sipala, Jr., 87, of Hartford, passed into eternal rest Sunday (December 23, 2012) at Hartford Hospital. Born in Hartford on August 5, 1925, he was the son of the late Paul E. and Angela (Gulino) Sipala and lived in Wethersfield prior to moving back to Hartford with Wallace Many who provided his care. He was employed by the City of Hartford in the Tax - Finance Department. Paul attended schools in Hartford, New York and was a graduate of Boston University and was a veteran of World War II, serving in the U.S. Army. Paul was an accomplished artist. He is survived by numerous nieces, nephews, grand nieces and grand nephews whom he loved dearly. He was predeceased by a beloved sister, Carmelina Sipala, and her husband, Joseph F. Sipala; two brothers, Joseph Sipala and Corrado Sipala and his lifelong friend, Leonard Dernalowicz. Paul was a very loving, kind and generous man and will be missed by all that knew him.

The funeral services and burial will be private. The D'Esopo Funeral Chapel, Wethersfield is assisting the family with arrangements.
