Rachel (valenti) Yacone

Rachel (Valenti) Yacone, 84, of Farmington, passed away Friday (January 8, 2010). She was born March 12, 1925 in Hartford, the daughter of the late Joseph and Theresa (Esposito) Valenti, and had lived in Farmington for many years. Besides George, her beloved husband of 64 years, Rachel is survived by two sons, George J. Yacone and his fiancé Patricia Beaulieu of Bristol and Mark W. Yacone and his wife Karen of Manchester; four grandsons Marc Yacone of Nantucket, Tony Yacone and his wife Linda of Farmington, and Frank and Michael Yacone of Wethersfield; and two great-grandchildren Dylan and Chynna. She is also survived by a sister Concetta 'Tina' Veprauskas of Hartford; four sisters-in-law Ann D'Esopo, Connie Vinickas, Guilia Yacone and Wanda Yacone; and many nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be Tuesday January 12 at 11 a.m. at the D'Esopo Funeral Chapel, 277 Folly Brook Blvd., Wethersfield. Burial will follow in Mt. St. Benedict Cemetery, Bloomfield.
