Raffaele Antonio Perrupato

Raffaele Antonio Perrupato, 72, of Wethersfield, CT. devoted father and grandfather, passed away unexpectedly, Monday (November 11, 2013) at home. Born June 13, 1941 in Saracena, province of Cosenza, Italy, he was the son of the late Vincenzo and Domenica (Bisconte) Perrupato. He retired from the State of Connecticut after 26 years of dedicated service. He was a longtime member of the Canicattinese Society. Raffaele enjoyed gardening, dancing and cooking, but most of all, he loved spending time with his family. A loving and giving person, he will be dearly missed by his family and many friends. He is survived by two daughters, Domenica Perrupato Hagan and her husband, Atty. Kevin Hagan of Newport, RI and Rosa M. Perrupato and her fiancée, Marc Beaulieu of Wethersfield, CT., three adored grandchildren, Thomas Antonio Hagan, Rebekah Colello and Audrey Beaulieu; two brothers, Franco Perrupato of Germany and Pasquale Perrupato and his wife Nina of Italy; a sister, Assunta Perrupato and her husband Tomasso as well as many nieces and nephews, all in Italy. He was predeceased by a sister, Rosa Perrupato.

Calling hours are Friday (November 15) from 4-7 pm at the D’Esopo Funeral Chapel, 277 Folly Brook Blvd. Wethersfield, CT. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Saturday (November 16) at 10 a.m. at the Church of the Incarnation, 544 Prospect Street, Wethersfield, CT. Everyone is asked to please go directly to the church. Burial will follow in Cedar Hill Cemetery, Hartford, CT.
