Ralph Vincent LaBella passed away at his home on May 2, 2025 after battling cancer for many years. He was 77 years old.
He was born in Hartford, Connecticut on July 17, 1947 to Emanuel LaBella and Anna LoGrasso LaBella. He is predeceased by his father Emanuel (1988) and his mother Anna (2009).
After high school, Ralph served in the Army and was sent to Vietnam from 1966-1968.
When he returned home, he spent many years as a hairstylist. He later began a career as a massage therapist specializing in Swedish Massage in Hartford.
He moved to Peachtree Corners, GA to be closer to his sister and was a caregiver for their mother who suffered from Alzheimer’s. He also worked teaching Massage Therapy. After his mother’s death he worked at St. George Village Senior Living in Roswell, GA as an assistant in the Activity Department for those on the Memory Care floor, until he could no longer work due to his cancer progression.
He is survived by his sister Vinci Imhoff, his niece Cheryl Ann Allegri (Anthony), his nephew Matthew Bazar (JoEllen), and four great-nephews, Stephen Allegri, Michael Allegri, Vincent Allegri, and Anthony Bazar.
A Catholic mass will be celebrated at Mary Our Queen Catholic Church, 6260 The Corners Pkwy, Peachtree Corners, GA at 10:00 A.M. on Friday, May 2, 2025. The mass will be livestreamed beginning at 9:45 online at maryourqueen.com.
His burial, presented with military honors, will take place at Cedar Hill Cemetery, 453 Fairfield Avenue, Hartford, CT on Monday, May 12, 2025 at 12:30 PM.
