

Richard M. Tarro, 63, loving husband of Kathleen (Wallack) Tarro, passed away suddenly on Sunday (May 13, 2007). He was born May 28, 1943 in New Britain and is the son of Anthony and Olga (Elia) Tarro of Plainville. He leaves a brother, Robert Sargis. He graduated from local schools in New Britain and majored in medicine at Michigan State University. He owned and operated along with his wife, Kathleen, Victorian Gallery Antiques in Wethersfield. He was well versed in antiques and collectibles for over 35 years. He was highly respected in the field by his peers. Richard was also a licensed realtor for over 25 years. He had extensive knowledge in selling, restoring and decorating antique and vintage quality homes. He was currently associated with Century 21, Zubretsky and son. Richard was an enthusiastic vintage car collector and throughout the years had numerous vehicles. He enjoyed all sports especially playing golf with his Dad. He loved all animals and was saddened when his faithful cat, Mikie, who was part of the family, passed. He rescued a lost parakeet, who Richard named ""Pistachio,"" the bird will forever call out his name and miss him. He will be sadly missed by all his many friends and clients, especially Michael Klymczuk, who was associated with the business and long time friend, JoAnn Foucher. Funeral service will be Friday, May 18 at 9 a.m. from the D'Esopo Funeral Chapel, 277 Folly Brook Blvd., Wethersfield followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 10 a.m. at Corpus Christi Church, 601 Silas Deane Hwy., Wethersfield. The burial will be in Rose Hill Memorial Park, Rocky Hill. Calling hours are Thursday from 4-8 p.m. at the D'Esopo Funeral Chapel.
