Rocco Zazzaro

Rocco Zazzaro passed away at 86 years old on June 13, 2016 in Farmington Hills, Michigan. Rocco was predeceased by the love his life and wife, Antoinette (Brancati) Zazzaro. Rocco leaves two daughters, Christine Roberts (Jay) of Plymouth, Michigan and Catherine Zazzaro (Ken Woods) of Sarasota, FL, a granddaughter, Angie Evans (Mark), a grandson, Mark Roberts (Monica Jones) and two great grandchildren, Zane Richards and Leah Jones, as well as numerous nieces, nephews, great nieces and great nephews. Rocco also leaves two sisters-in-law, Mary Blondin and Pauline Brancati. Rocco was predeceased in death by his siblings, Matthew Zazzaro, Michael Zazzaro, Carmen Zazzaro, Daniel Zazzaro, Thomas Zazzaro, Frances Taylor (George), Ann Happenny (Donald), Agnes Petrini (Raymond), Mary Zazzaro and Rose Zazzaro. He was also predeceased by his brothers-in-law, Nicholas Brancati, Joseph Blondin and brother-in-law and sister-in-law, Rocco and Angelina Brancati. Rocco worked most of his life on construction and was a member of Connecticut Laborers Local 611. Rocco was an avid bowler. He was bowling in three leagues until a couple of weeks before passing. He leaves many good friends that he met through bowling. He also played Setback in a tournament setting partnering with his best friends.

The funeral will leave Saturday June 18th at 9:15 a.m. from the D’Esopo Funeral Chapel, 277 Folly Brook Blvd., with a Mass of Christian Burial at 10 a.m. in Corpus Christi Church, 601 Silas Deane Highway, Wethersfield. Burial will follow in Mt. St. Benedict Cemetery, Bloomfield. The family will receive relatives and friends on Friday from 5-7 p.m. at the funeral chapel.
