Rose Tine (Miele)

Rose (Miele) Tine, 63, of Hartford, passed away on Friday (May 27, 2011) surrounded by her loving family. She was born in Hoboken, NJ, daughter of the late Thomas and Jennie (Tommasino) Miele. She worked at Morande Ford in Berlin. Rose loved to cook and delighted in the joy it brought to both family and friends. She always put others before herself. The greatest love in her life was family and sharing time with them. She enjoyed sports and was an avid Red Sox fan. She will be deeply missed by all and we will never forget her. She is survived by her beloved children, Joseph Tine of Windsor and Christie Tine of Hartford; her brothers and sisters, Nina Emden of Wilmington, NC, Peter DiResta and his wife Joanne of Niantic, Jeanne Fugate and her husband Roger of Berlin, Thomas Miele Jr. and his wife Denise of Newington, Gennaro Miele and his wife Donna of Niantic and Anthony Miele and his wife Susan of Greensburg, PA, as well as many nieces, nephews and friends. Funeral service will be Sunday (May 29) at 2 p.m. at the D'Esopo Funeral Chapel, 277 Folly Brook Blvd., Wethersfield with Fr. Jose Mercado officiating. Burial will be private. Family and friends may call on Sunday from 12-2 p.m. prior to the service. Donations in Rose's memory may be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital , 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105.
