Rosina (dicostanzo) Rossi

Rosina (DiCostanzo) Rossi, 89, of Wethersfield, wife of the late Cesidio Rossi who predeceased her in 2006, died peacefully, Sunday (January 10, 2010). Her sweet earthly body passed peacefully as she was surrounded by her beloved family. Rosina's spirit ascended to live and reign with her Heavenly Father and Jesus in glory for all eternity. She was born September 21, 1920 in Pratola Peligna, Italy and was the daughter of the late Domenico and Michelina (Gianantonio) DiCostanzo. Rosina and her husband, Cesidio, spent the last seven years in the loving care of their daughter, Michelina Leone and son-in-law Nino and were surrounded by the love and joy of their grandchildren and great-grandchildren. She is survived by her beloved daughter, Michelina Leone and husband Nino of Wethersfield; granddaughters, Monica Leone, Erika McKee, Rosanna Petrella Fagin, Gisella Petrella Stevens and Carolina Petrella DiPelino and their husbands; 12 great grandchildren and her son-in-law, Americo Petrella. Besides her husband and parents, Rosina was predeceased by her daughter, Anna Petrella, sister Assunta and brother Alberto. Funeral service will be Friday, January 15 at 9 a.m. at the D'Esopo Funeral Chapel, 277 Folly Brook Blvd., Wethersfield followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 10 a.m. at the Church of the Incarnation, 544 Prospect Street, Wethersfield. Rosina will be buried with her beloved husband in Pratola Peligna Cemetery, Italy. Calling hours are Thursday, from 4-7 p.m. at the funeral chapel.
