Sebastian Joseph Vasile

Sebastian Joseph Vasile, 81, of Wimauma, FL, formerly of West Palm Beach and Wethersfield, husband of Marie (D’Esopo) Vasile, died Thursday December 16, 2010. Born in Hartford he was the son of the late Salvatore and Concetta (Leone) Vasile and lived in Wethersfield for most of his life before moving to West Palm Beach and more recently to Wimauma.

He retired from Beckenstein Enterprises after a long career in the construction industry. He was a U. S. Marine Corps veteran of the Korean War. He was a member of the Young Italians (YIAA) and a former member of the Wethersfield Chapter of UNICO National.

Besides his wife he is survived by his daughter, Karen and her husband John Casey, Ph.D. of Waterford, two grandchildren, Ryan and Kristin Casey, his step-children; Darlene White, Terasesa Williamson, Michael Prince and several step-grandchildren He was predeceased by his first wife, Carmela (Carilli) Vasile.

Graveside services with full military honors will be private. There are no calling hours. The D’Esopo Funeral Chapel, Wethersfield is entrusted with the arrangements.
