Shauna Ann Deforge

Shauna A. DeForge (Saunders), 43, of Berlin, beloved wife of Thomas J. DeForge, passed away unexpectedly at home on September 12, 2023. Shauna was born on December 30, 1979 in Maricopa County, AZ. In addition to her loving husband, Shauna is survived by her mother, Christine Saunders of Windsor Locks, CT, as well as numerous aunts, uncles, cousins, extended-family and friends.

Exactly five years ago, Shauna and Tom tragically lost the light of their lives and only son, Noah, at the age of 15. While Shauna struggled greatly with Noah’s passing, she did find great joy and peace in all the amazing experiences and memories made traveling the world with her husband.

She loved the oceans, the moon and the stars and spent countless hours taking pictures and gazing upon them. She had a boundless affinity for every and all genres of music. Shauna was a kind, generous and loving woman and she will be truly missed and never forgotten by all who loved her so much.

The family will receive friends and relatives from 9 to 10:30 a.m. on Monday, September 18th at the D’Esopo Funeral Chapel, 277 Folly Brook Blvd, Wethersfield. A prayer service will be held at 10:30 a.m. on Monday in the chapel. Burial will directly follow at Cedar Hill Cemetery, Hartford, CT.
