Vincenza (Italia) Signorello, 73, of Hartford, loving wife of Marcello Signorello, peacefully entered into eternal life on Friday (February 22, 2008) surrounded by her devoted family at St. Francis Hospital, Hartford. Born in Floridia, province of Siracusa, Italy she was a daughter of the late Vincenzo and Santa (Spada) Italia and had resided in Hartford for the past forty-two years. Vincenza was a proud homemaker who loved sewing, gardening, and cooking for her family and friends. She also enjoyed going out with her husband to various gatherings and socializing with family, friends, and others. Besides her beloved husband, Marcello, of fifty-two years, Vincenza is survived by two special sons, Aldo Signorello and his wife, Cathy, of Meriden, Dino S. Signorello and his wife, Maria, of Newington; a dedicated daughter, Angela Signorello of Hartford with whom she made her home; a brother, Giuseppe Italia in Italy; four sisters, Giuseppina Curcio, Maria Russo, Elena Amato, Lucia Catinella all in Italy; five adored grandchildren, Daniela, Marcello, Stefani, Marcello, and Johnpaolo Signorello; several nieces and nephews. Funeral service will be Wednesday (February 27th) at 9 AM from the D?Esopo Funeral Chapel, 277 Folly Brook Boulevard, Wethersfield with a Mass of Christian Burial celebrated at 10 AM at St. Augustine Church, 10 Campfield Avenue, Hartford. Entombment will follow at Cedar Hill Cemetery-New Mausoleum, Hartford. Relatives and friends may call at the funeral home chapel on Tuesday (February 26th) from 5-8 PM. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions in Vincenza?s memory may be made to the American Diabetes Association, 306 Industrial Park Rd, Suite 105, Middletown CT, 06457.
