Virginia DeFelice

Virginia DeFelice, RN, 88, formerly of New Britain Avenue, Hartford, daughter of the late Alponso and Lucia (Romano) DeFelice, died peacefully Monday, September 28, 2015 at Avery Heights Nursing Home. She was born August 17, 1927 in Hartford. She was a Registered Nurse and was formerly employed at Hartford Hospital and Hughes Nursing Home, West Hartford. She is survived by her niece, Louise Alexander and her husband Barry of South Windsor; nephews, Michael E. Procaccini and his wife Patricia of Newington and Robert Procaccini of Manchester; great nieces, Lynn Alexander of South Windsor, Maxine Procaccini and Patricia Torbicki and her husband Michael, all of Newington and Michelle Douglass and husband Scott of Maine. She was predeceased by a brother, Andrew DeFelice and two sisters, Louise DeFelice and Mary Procaccini.

Funeral service will be Friday (October 9) at 11 a.m. at the Mill Pond Church, 2175 Berlin Turnpike, Newington with Senior Pastor Joel Rissinger officiating. The burial will follow in Mt. St. Benedict Cemetery, Bloomfield. There are no calling hours. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Mill Pond Church, 2175 Berlin Turnpike, Newington, CT 06111.
