

William “Bill” Massaro, 77, of Newington, beloved husband of Angela (Amara) Massaro for 47 years, passed away with his family by his side. He was the son of the late Joseph and Theresa (Rondinone) Massaro and brother of the late Frank Massaro. Bill was employed by the State of CT for 34 years. He also served in the Army National Guard. Bill was a passionate saxophonist for 53 years. He played with his heart and soul and touched many people with his amazing talent. His love in life was his time spent with his family. Bill was loved by all who knew him. Bill leaves behind his daughters Wendy Ganci of West Hartford and Debra Biella of Rocky Hill. He also leaves his grandchildren; Brittany and husband Chris Tyler, Amanda, Havyn, Brielle and Tyler along with his great-grandchildren; Aliyah, Emery and Brayden. He also leaves his sons-in law James Biella and Michael Ganci. Funeral services will be held on Saturday at 10:00 a.m. at the D’Esopo Funeral Chapel, 277 Folly Brook Boulevard, Wethersfield. Burial will immediately follow at Mount St. Benedict Cemetery, Bloomfield.
