

Born on a farm in Bar Harbor, Maine, January 16, 1932. Bill was one of four brothers. At the age 10, Bill’s family moved to East Hartford, where he completed his education and played high school football. He later enlisted in the U.S. Navy and proudly served his country during the Korean War. During his time in the service, Bill was stationed in Newport, Rhode Island, where he started his family welcoming his four beloved daughters.
Bill was a HVAC technician for over 30 years also worked for West Hartford School District and Butler Aviation out of New Jersey. Besides his love of family his favorite pass time was fishing on the ocean with Gary and the Boys.
Bill was predeceased by his three brothers, Robert, Richard, and Jack; his granddaughter, Stephanie Tsolas; and his son-in-law, James Bossie.
He is survived by his loving family, his daughters Deborah Bossie and her children and their spouses: Kayce, Jim, Sean, Keri, Rob, Tina, Shannon, Angelo, Erin, Scott, Patrick (PJ), Erin, and Danielle, and Jake. Sandra and George Adamec and their family: Michael, Jaime, Jonathan, and Ashley. Linda and Gary Nolf and their boys: Justin, Kristin, Tyson, and Ashley. Laura and Martin Le and their family: Melissa, Leanne, Matt, Allen, and Courtney.
Bill's legacy lives on through his 29 grandchildren and 32 great-grandchildren.
Please join the family for a Memorial Service at St. James Episcopal Church, 2584 Main Street, Glastonbury, CT on March 1, 2025, at 11:00 a.m.
