

Yvonne (Pender) Breton, 99, of Rocky Hill, loving wife of the late Arthur ""Joe"" Breton, passed away peacefully, Tuesday (July 12, 2011). She was born August 20, 1911 in St. Bernard, province of Quebec, Canada and was the daughter of the late George and Adelina (Duclos) Pender. After spending many years in Maine she moved to Connecticut in 1940. She retired over 30 years ago from the former Arrow-Hart & Hegeman Company. Yvonne enjoyed sewing for the whole family and cooking and preparing French food at Christmas time. She spent many happy hours playing cards with her sisters and was an avid country music fan. She was a doting mother, grandmother and great grandmother who will be dearly missed. She is survived by her three devoted daughters, Jeannine Boudreau and husband, Arthur of Wethersfield, Gisele Bosse of Rocky Hill with whom she made her home and Linda Dubois of Newington; eight cherished grandchildren, Kenneth Boudreau and wife, Sandy, Robert Boudreau and wife, Theresa, David Bosse, Michael Bosse and wife, Carrie, Donna Nagle and husband, John, Debbie Timmes and husband, Brian, Brian and Jacqueline Dubois; precious great grandchildren, Nicole and Daniel Boudreau, Deanna and Megan Bosse and Erica Lawrence as well as many nieces and nephews, extended family members and friends. She was predeceased by her three brothers, Cleophas, Francois and Cyril and her five sisters, Adelina, Rose-Aimee, Alphonsine, Jeanne and Rosa A.
Funeral service will be Saturday at 9 a.m. at the D'Esopo Funeral Chapel, 277 Folly Brook Blvd., Wethersfield followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 10 a.m. at the Church of the Incarnation, 544 Prospect Street, Wethersfield. The burial will be in Mt. St. Benedict Cemetery, Bloomfield. Calling hours are Friday from 4-7 p.m. at the funeral chapel.
